If there were a potion to break through the post holiday blues of January - It would need to convey freshness, buoyancy and optimism, but also the strength to make the lift. Wines of Catalunya have long filled all those categories, and even more so in recent generations who are leaving behind oaky notes and international varieties, in favor of indigenous grapes, anfora and neutral vessel aging. Thanks to recent innovators in Catalan wine, a lid has been flipped!

Wild to think that we're about to eclipse the 1 year mark since opening our doors at 53 Waterbury St. We can't thank everyone enough for supporting the shop and helping turn our four walls into a community hub; we certainly have a lot to celebrate!

As a child of December, warming reds are no stranger to our entourage. Coming on our year-one anniversary it is comforting to reflect on how the heartiest reds of our wine catalog have kept our lights on, paid the wifi bill, and kept a notable percent of our regular neighborhood customers very happy, sated and cozy.

Most people don’t understand the challenges of making things offsite, which is to say working off of a set of measurements and hoping that one recorded all the elevations and intricacies of the installation site. I certainly did not, at least not right away as I had to visit a couple of time to re-measure and bolster my confidence that I had understood things well enough.”
